Growth in the Chinese food and non-alcoholic drinks market will slightly slow over 2021, as the sector moves fromhigher than normal growth over 2020, as a result of consumer's reacting to the Covid-19 pandemic. Growth in alcoholic drinksspending will perform well, as consumer spending patterns normalise post-Covid-19. However, we note that several demand-siderisks will continue to put pressure on non-essential spending over the short term. Chinese boasts one of the most attractive marketsin the region, with many companies looking to invest in the country over the medium term.
