Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar Autos Q1 2020
Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar all suffer from the same structural challenges when it comes to their respectiveautomotive markets. These structural challenges include low incomes, small consumer bases, limited supporting infrastructure andfinancial systems. Combined, these factors will limit the growth potential of vehicle sales in these countries as consumers are stilllargely unable to afford vehicles and their road infrastructure wont be able to support a larger fleet. That said, we expect stronggrowth in Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar's construction industries, which highlights that although the passenger vehicle segmentremains small with few rewards, the countries' commercial vehicle segments will be attractive to automakers.
