The Brazilian consumer electronics market and industry was hit hard by the economic crisis in 2015-2016. There was aresumption of growth in 2017 as economic conditions improved and pent-up demand was unlocked - but we expect it will be ashort-lived recovery as economic and device spending growth moves to a slower trajectory over 2018-2022. This also means theoutlook for the domestic industry is for only modest growth because of its focus on the home market and lack of success as anexporter.
