It has been reported that further micro-cracks have been found in the Tihange 2 nuclear reactor in 2017.
Micro-cracks in the Doel 3 reactor had reportedly also been discovered in November 2016. Belgianauthorities are maintaining that the reactors are safe and therefore no reactors will be decommissionedprior to their scheduled decommissioning dates.
