Demand for contract cleaning
services and supplies in the
US is projected to advance
seven percent yearly through
2007 to $50 billion. Gains
will be driven by a recovery
in the US economy which will
loosen budgetary constraints
for cleaning services and spur
the purchase of new cleaning
equipment. Cleaning services,
which include building and
dwelling cleaning, as well as
carpet cleaning, will greatly
outpace demand for cleaning
supplies through 2007.
Ongoing downsizing and cost-cutting
by corporate, institu-tional
and governmental
entities -- which at the same
time must maintain high
building maintenance stan-dards
-- will continue to result
in outsourcing of noncore
operations, a trend that will
spur demand for janitorial
services. Supplies will also
see healthy gains as a result of
product/performance upgrade
and economic recovery. Please Note: Freedonia requires that, for PDF orders, clients sign a confidentiality agreement prior to fulfillment of PDF email delivery.
