The USA is the largest producer of cocoa powder, with production of over 330 thousand tonnes a year. North America is the largest consuming region of cocoa powder, accounting for 46% of world consumption. The South and Central American market is experiencing growth of almost 3% per year. The Netherlands, Malaysia, and Singapore are the major exporters, with the USA, Germany, and France being the leading importers.
