Frost & Sullivan defines a digital broadcast camera as a device that enables the capture of moving images in a digital format for both indoor (studio) and outdoor broadcast (OB). A digital cinematography camera is defined as a device that captures moving images in a digital format replacing traditional film stock. These cameras replace traditional analog formats that have been used to capture video.
