Executive Summary

With nearly 60,000 cases of ovarian cancer being diagnosed in the seven major markets each year, this cancer type is by no means small and therefore it remains an important secondary indication for existing and pipeline drugs.

There are today at least 230 therapeutics targeting ovarian cancer in active development, from early preclinical to marketed drugs. In addition, the accumulated number of ceased drugs over the last three years amount to another 47 drugs.
