This Health Industry Insights Perspective highlights the development of a commercial clinical trial management system (CTMS) solution that works through the widely available Microsoft Office solution. By enabling clinical trial managers and clinical research associates (CRAs) to use a common software interface that they are likely already familiar and comfortable with, TranSenda International hopes that its CTMS solution will become the interface of choice in an application area where no solution has garnered wide acceptance. In a field where multiple separate Excel spreadsheets and folders of emails are often the norm, this solution offers the potential to leverage ongoing isolated efforts into a unified solution that should result in improved efficiencies and reduced errors.

This document provides insights developed from direct discussions with TranSenda leadership from the recent DIA meeting held in Boston.
