The comprehensive HealthFocus Trend Survey which looks at consumer attitudes towards nutrition, health, and wellness has been conducted in 30 countries outside of the US since 2000. The US HealthFocus Trend study is the longest running study on health and nutrition available.
The objectives of the HealthFocus Trend Survey are:
To identify current issues in consumer health nutrition behavior and attitudes;
To assess the trends in consumer priorities regarding nutrition issues, such as fat, vitamins, calories;
To develop an understanding of where consumers are headed in their behavior towards their health and diet;
To identify what nutritional issues will be important over the near horizon.
To provide data at a level of detail that truly facilitates good marketing decisions.
