This report summarizes data from a survey conducted by IMV Medical Information Division from September 2004 through October 2005, covering the nation’s 150+ bed hospitals that perform non-coronary interventional (therapeutic) angiography procedures in their radiology department. Based on interviews with ~1,000 locations, this report projects the data to our identified universe of 1,630 U.S. sites, profiling major trends in interventional angiography utilization and purchasing decisions. The report covers national trends in procedure volumes by major procedure categories, features and manufacturers of installed equipment, equipment buying plans, networking plans, contrast media utilization and suppliers, operational budgets and staffing levels.
