The Key Note Range Of Reports

Abstract

This report analyses the UK aerospace market, which, like the global industry, is broadly segmented into two main sectors:

·civil aerospace ·military aerospace.

Both sectors are analysed separately wherever possible. However, the market can also be segmented into the following sectors, which cut across both the main sectors above:

·aircraft systems and frames ·aircraft equipment ·aircraft engines. Other sectors, which overlap all three of the above are:

·maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) ·space and satellite manufacture.

Many companies are active in both the civil and the military sectors; for example, BAE SYSTEMS is involved in the production of the Airbus civil airliner programmes as well as military aircraft.

Missiles and non-aviation defence are not included in this report, but are covered in Key Note’s Market Report on Defence Equipment and the Market Review on The Defence Industry.
