"While IT budgets are still tight, IDC expects server spending to improve over the five-year forecast period. 2009 spending levels were the worst seen in many years, but the lockdown in IT spending is ending," said Lloyd Cohen, research director, Global Enterprise Computing at IDC. "The U.S. market was the first hit with the economic recession and will be the first to recover. There may be selected geographic areas such as India and China that may have stronger-than-average growth rates, but this should be viewed as the exception. Recovery will be slow, but we are finally moving in the right direction." Get Full Details About This Report >> |
