Abstract

This IDC Insight presents strategies and views of enterprise mobility channel partners, such as mobile service providers and systems integrators [SIs] (including ITSPs and networking integrators) in China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan. IDC assesses the past activities of the channel partners as well as their future strategies as economic recovery kicks in. The study analyzes channel partners' target markets, their views on customer needs and challenges, and support and expectations from principal vendors. For this study, IDC has interviewed a range of channel partners in the aforementioned countries. To a large extent, the study does not make reference to the names of channel partners to maintain confidentiality of the respondents. However, some respondents did not have such concerns; and therefore, IDC has sparingly mentioned names of such channel partners where relevant.
