It contains IDC's review and forecast of the U.S. wireless inkjet devices market for 2006-2013. Unit shipments data is presented. Data for 2006-2008 is actual, whereas data for 2009-2013 is projected. A key finding is that the standard 802.11g/n wireless inkjet market in the United States grew by more than 90% in 2008 over 2007. IDC projects that standard wireless unit shipments in the United States will grow at a CAGR of 29.8% from 2008 to 2013. "The wireless print market was one of the few segments that bucked the trend in 2008 to post a significant growth in unit shipment volume. IDC believes that this segment of the hardcopy market has demonstrated a propensity to hold up well against other market conditions and grow over the next five years. Opportunities for growth have opened up for print vendors with an overall expansion in mobility and wireless markets." — Sahaja Sarathy, senior research analyst, IDC's Hardcopy Peripherals Get Full Details About This Report >> |
