Abstract

This IDC study presents a forecast of the indirect portion of software sales across all geographic markets for the secondary software markets tracked by IDC. It includes the revenue flow through the various types of indirect channels, including OEM, single-tier resale, and multitier distribution.

The strength and appeal of SaaS offerings, particularly in a period of constrained spending, is the wild card in this forecast.
