AbstractIntroduction“I’d love there to be a better agent,” says a thought leader on the current state of sarcoidosis treatment. Many sarcoidosis patients require little or no treatment, but patients with chronic disease need a therapy that is safer than the corticosteroids that have become the mainstay treatment for the disease. Because substantial market constraints have limited development in this therapeutic area, only a few novel agents are in the pipeline.
