Abstract

The 'Tomorrow' series of reports deliver ademographic and socio economic blue print of thefuture for over 71 countries, providing allthe facts necessary to make informed businessdecisions about strategies for the future.

The report examines how Thailand's population willchange between 2009 and 2029 in terms of age,household structure, education and labour forceprofiles. In terms of the population it also showshow the different lifecycle stages (e.g. youngsingle; married with at least one child under 10 yrs;etc) will change in size and importance over time.

The final sections of the report examines the trendin average household income and the distribution ofhouseholds by income. In the case of Thailand this isdone for both urban and rural households as wellas total Households. The analysis shows how thesize of 5 key income groups will change overtimegiven a particular GDP growth assumption. Finally
