AbstractCovidien Ltd. (Covidien) is engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of healthcare products for use in clinical and home settings. The Company operates its business through four segments: Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical Products, Imaging Solutions and Medical Supplies. The Company’s customers include hospitals, surgi-centers, imaging centers, alternate site facilities, drug manufacturers and major retailers worldwide.
