‘just-auto estimates that the total OE alternator market was worth nearly EUR1.3bn in 2007, with potential to be worth nearly EUR1.6bn in 2014.’

The increasing use of power-hungry options in modern passenger cars, such as heated seats and quick-defrost glass is placing unprecedented demands on automotive charging systems.
