Abstract

As the satellite market continues to grow and mature, the industry as a whole, is slowly offering and engendering new features and services. We expect the satellite set top box market to eclipse 81 million units (both FTA and pay-TV) by the end of the forecast period.

HD and DVR continue to be features/services that are being called upon to differentiate products, while increasing ARPU and reducing churn.
