Between 2001 - 2005, he headed SMMT’s International Department, helping global companies to identify and exploit new opportunities in emerging automotive markets. He is now an independent advisor, working with both UK Trade & Investment and with independent commercial clients. He is a regular writer and speaker on automotive issues, both in the UK and overseas.
