AbstractThis report details the over-riding IT issues facing small and SOHO businesses in the US, providing research into these firms likelihood to use outsourcing options to address these issues. Specifically, this research examines these businesses' propensity to adopt application services, from which types of companies and using what selection criteria. This report also provides detail on respondents IT infrastructure, primarily as it relates to servers and operating systems. Profiles of key ASPs targeting small companies included. This research was conducted at December 1999-January 2000 and leverages In-Stat on-going research in both the small business and SOHO markets.
