AbstractThis report details the overriding IT issues facing medium and enterprise businesses in the U.S., providing research into these firms' likelihood to use outsourcing options to address these issues. Specifically, this research examines these businesses' propensity to adopt application services, from which types of companies, and using what selection criteria. Profiles of key ASP targeting the corporate market are included. This report also provides detail on respondents' IT infrastructure, primarily as it relates to servers and operating systems. This research was conducted from December 1999 through January 2000, and leverages In-Stat's ongoing research in both the middle and enterprise markets.
