    Abstract

    The growing number of remote and mobile workers, particularly telecommuters, is having one of the most significant impacts on business telecom requirements. As a result, demand for low-end broadband solutions, namely ADSL and cable access, have grown steadily across all sizes of business, even very large firms, where low-end solutions were previously thought to lack "robustness."

    This study provides an overview of the fundaments of business broadband in the home for middle market "at home" workers. These fundaments include the impact of at home workers on business demands for broadband, telecom and networking solutions in their home offices, as well as how they use the solutions, etc.
