Abstract

“This report provides insight into the cleaning and cooking habits and practices of Gen Xers, the process Gen Xers use when furnishing their homes, what they are buying, and what the hottest products are among the Generation X age cohort. The report is based on in-depth in-home interviews with 17 Generation X households headed by a person who is between the ages of 25 and 34. Gen X is one of two big life stage opportunities for the home. The report is written and edited by RMG Senior Partner A.J. Riedel who has more than fifteen years of professional experience in the home goods and housewares industries and is a highly regarded marketing authority, forecaster of consumer trends, and advisor to many housewares companies.”
