Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation (THSRC) constructs and operates high-speed railway system and provides passenger transportation services in Taiwan. The company operates with a railway line network that covers 345 kilometers and connects major cities in western Taiwan between Taipei and Kaohsiung. The rail network passes through Taiwan's four biggest cities and covers ten counties and 77 townships en route. THSRC currently operates with eight stations and four new stations are in the pipeline. The company carries over 110,000 passengers a day with each train having a passenger capacity of around 989 seats. THSRC is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan.
