IMA Life (Beijing) Pharmaceutical Systems Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of IMA Group in China. IMA Group’s freeze drying equipment, related technologies and market share are all in an absolute leading position in the industry. IMA Group has 22 factories located in Italy, Germany, UK and China, and its sales network covers more than 70 countries and regions worldwide. In 2010, revenue of IMA Group hit EUR503 million, which basically kept balance with 2009. As for IMA Life (Beijing) Pharmaceutical Systems Co., Ltd., its major business is to export freeze dryer and other pharmaceutical machinery to European and American markets. In 2009, its operating income achieved RMB110 million, up 10.57% YoY. Shanghai Tofflon Science and Technology Co. Ltd. is the largest manufacturer of freeze drying equipment in China, whose output has been able to replace certain imported products. In 2010, its operating income achieved RMB480.6171 million, up 56.01% YoY, meanwhile, its total profit reached RMB167.2784 million, a rise of 84.51% YoY. Its revenue of freeze dryer and freeze drying system equipment registered RMB402 million and RMB54.88 million respectively in 2010, up 45% and 346% YoY respectively. In 2011, its product structure will be further upgraded, with sharply increasing sales revenue of freeze drying system equipment and continuously enlarged ratio of high-end freeze dryer products such as SIP/CIP. Founded in the beginning of 2003, Shanghai Suparnin Pharmaceutical Equipment Co., Ltd. is a joint venture mainly engaged in manufacturing industrial vacuum freeze drying equipment. 70% of Suparnin’s products are exported to European and American markets. In the first quarter of 2011, Suparnin won the bid for four freeze dryer projects of Axellia (Taizhou) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Hailing Pharma, Walvax Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Simcere Dongyuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
