Bolivia

Bolivia is a democratic republic located in South America. Its capital, La Paz, is the highest of the world capitals. Bolivia features high plateaus (altiplanos), temperate and semitropical valleys, and tropical lowlands. The climate varies from humid and tropical to semi-arid and cold, depending on the elevation. Bolivia has a population of 10 million and several languages are spoken including Spanish and indigenous languages such as Quechua, Aymara, and Guarani.
The country is predominantly Catholic. The large ethnic diversity has contributed to a rich cultural heritage expressed in the arts, cuisine, literature, and music.

Bolivia has several natural resources including hydrocarbons (natural gas, petroleum) and minerals (zinc, silver, lead, gold and Iron). Major agricultural products produced in the country include soybeans, cotton, potatoes, corn, sugarcane, rice, wheat, coffee, beef, barley, and quinoa. Bolivia also manufactures food & Beverage, wood, and textiles.

Bolivia es una república demotrática, localizada en Sudamérica. Su capital, La Paz, es la mas alta del mundo. Bolivia consta de altiplanos, valles templados y subtropicales y llanuras tropicales. El clima varía de cálido y húmedo a frío y semi-árido, según la altitud. Bolivia tiene una población de 10 milliones de habitantes. Varios idiomas se hablan, includendo el Español y algunos idiomas indígenas como el Quechua, el Aymara, y el Guaraní. La religión predominante es el catolicismo. Debido a la gran diversidad étnica existe una rica herencia cultural expresada en las artes, en la cocina, en la literatura y en la música.

Los diversos recursos naturales incluyen los hidrocarburos (gas natural, petróleo) y minerales (zinc, plata, plomo, oro e hierro). Los principales productos agrícolas son la soja, el algodón, las patatas, el maíz, la caña de azucar, el arroz, el trigo, el café, la carne, el centeno, y la quinoa. Bolivia también produce alimentos manufacturados, bebidas, madera, y textiles.
