Spain

Officially the kingdom of Spain, this European nation is located in the Iberian Peninsula. On the south and the east, it is surrendered by the Mediterranean Sea. Spain also borders France, Andorra, the Bay of Biscay, and Portugal.

Spain emerged as a unified force in the 15th century, following the marriage of Queen Isabella I of Castile and King Ferdinand II of Aragon, known as the Catholics Monarchs.

During the Reconquista (the recapturing) that started with the Catholics Monarchs, several Christian kingdoms succeeded in retaking the Iberian Peninsula from the Moors.

Because of its location and history, Spain is full of Moorish influence intertwined in its language, art, and culture. Spain is the 51st largest country in the world and is characterized by high pains and mountain chains.

Spain is organized as a parliamentary government. It is also a constitutional monarchy and a member of the European Union.

El Reino de Españá se ubica en la península Ibérica. En el Sur y en el Este está rodeada por el mar Mediterranio. Españá limita tambien con Francia, Andorra, el golfo de Biscaya y Portugal. Españá emergió como nación unida en el siglo 15, después del casamiento de la Reina Isabel de Castilla con el Rey Fernando de Aragón, quienes fueron conocidos como los Reyes Católicos. Durante la Reconquista que comenzó con los Reyes Católicos, varios reinos católicos pudieron recuperar la Peninsula Iberica de las manos de los Moros.

Debido a su ubicación y a su historia, Españá esta llena de influencia Morisca que se expresa en su lenguaje, su arte y su cultura. Españá es el país numbero 51 por superficie y se caracteriza por sus altiplanos y por sus cadenas de montañas.

Españá está organizada como govierno parlamentario. Es una monarquía constitucional, y es miembro de la Union Europea.
