In the EU27, taking July and August together output of wood products and fuel products was broadly flat, while that of paper products and rubber and plastic products rose by around 1% and that of mineral products (mostly for building) by 2%. Compared to a year earlier that left output up by 4% in the case of rubber & plastics and 2% in the case of mineral products, but down by 1.5% in the case of wood products ' with little change in the fuel and paper product sectors.
