| Telkom, the incumbent operator in South Africa, is at a crossroads. The sale of its 50% share in Vodacom has left it with surplus funds, but without a mobile arm. Telkom is repositioning itself and developing a business plan for a new mobile arm at a time when the domestic wireless market is highly contested.
