The Taiwanese DSL Industry, 3Q 2009

This research report presents shipment volume forecast and recent quarter review of global subscriber scale by region, DSL equipment shipment volume, shipment value, and shipment by maker. The report includes manufacturer volume rankings, price trends, shipment volume by solution provider, and shipment by function. Also examined are production locations, shipment destinations, business types, and OEM/ODM customer portfolios. The content of this report is based on primary data obtained through interviews with DSL equipment makers. The report finds that Taiwanese DSL CPE shipment was affected by the economic downturn in the first half of 2009. Shipment performance in the second half of 2009 is expected to be stronger than the first half of the year.
