Klosters Trading Corp.

Klosters Trading Corporation has been in business since 1987. The owner, Lutz Muller, has been actively engaged in in the toy industry since 1984, in the video game industry since 2002, and in consumer electronics since 2004, first as a business executive [CEO of five companies] and then as a provider of business intelligence to the financial industry. Klosters derives its metrics and data points mainly from three sources. One is the company’s proprietary retailer panel which includes the top ten retailers in each of the three product categories mentioned. The second are the national buyers at the key retailers for each of the three product categories. both in the U.S. and in Europe, who provide color on manufacturers, products, supply chain issues and other matters of interest. The third are Chinese-based manufacturers who produce for the leading companies in those three fields and who talk about issues around inventories, supply chain and other issues. All combined, the information so provided enables Klosters to make sales projections by company [and where applicable by major product of each company] for two quarters. In addition, the reports also identify major areas of concern or opportunity for each of the companies mentioned in these reports.
