Online mobile shopping is a ‘prominent’ online shopping activity. Almost all non-travel product online shoppers.Online mobile shoppers are ‘younger males’ from ‘urban’ India, hailing from the ‘well-to-do’ socio-economic strata. Online mobile shoppers show ‘average’ to ‘above average’ socio-economic profiles. More of them are employed, though a lower proportion of them are the ‘chief wage earner’ of their households. In line with the socio-economic profile, online mobile shoppers show high usage of all the high-end household assets.Online mobile ‘buyers’ make relatively better online consumers. Though only 13% of the online mobile shoppers are ‘online mobile buyers’, yet these are evolved buyers in terms of their online buying behavior.
