US Market Forecast: DTV and iTV, 2004 to 2009

With technologies such as DTV, digital video recorders (DVRs), and video on demand (VoD) moving into the mainstream, multiple service and satellite operators must meet consumers' expectations. Some form of pay TV service already supplies 85 percent of US TV households. Cable operators must convince existing customers and prospects of the digital value proposition to justify capital expense, while satellite operators must solidify market share.
