The actual report is devoted to study of current situation in the market of talc in the CIS countries and to forecast of its development. The Report consists of seven Sections, contains 97 pages, including 45 tables, 28 figures and a supplement. This work is a desk research. As information sources we used the data of Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), the State Committee of Statistics for CIS countries, Federal customs service of Russian Federation (RF FCS), branch official statistics of railroad transportation of OJSC «RZhD», branch and regional press, annual and quarterly accounts of emitters of securities as well as Internet sites of manufacturing and consuming enterprises. Because automobile cargo traffic is not subject to essential statistical accounting, the Report presents just railway traffic data.
The Report's First Chapter is devoted to brief description of the World talc market. The Section presents output of the product in the World, names principle talc producing countries and enterprises, as well as global prices of key sorts of talc.
The Second Chapter of the Report presents analysis of talc mineral resource base in Russia and the CIS. The section mentions booked balance deposits of talc and soapstone, mining them enterprises and talc raw material booked reserves.
The Third Chapter of the Report is devoted to talc production. It gives a snapshot of principle methods of talc treatment, presents regulatory base for talc production quality. It provides data in regard of talc output by the CIS countries during the last 20 years (1990-2009). In addition, there is data in regard of key producing companies - brief description of the enterprises, their output over the last 15 years (1995-2009), as well as volumes and avenues of product's deliveries in 2005-2009.
The Fourth Chapter of the Report is devoted to analysis over talc foreign trade operations by Russia in 1995-2009. The Chapter considers the talc import and export supplies split over countries and enterprises.
The Fifth Chapter of the report presents talc prices.
The Sixth Chapter assesses talc consumption in Russia. This Chapter provides balance between talc output and consumption, composes the structure of consumption. It also quotes principal talc branch consumers and their delivery volumes in 2005-2009.
The final Seventh Chapter of the report provides forecast for talc market development in Russia until 2015.
The Appendix provides addresses and contact information for talc key producing and consuming enterprises.
