| Countries covered: Oman Oman is a member of the World Trade Organisation and the country enjoys an open trading environment. Non-GCC imports are commonplace in the market for soft drinks in Oman, though they are far outweighed in market share terms by GCC sourced goods. Since the GCC initiated full customs union in 2003 there are no import tariffs at all on internally (GCC) manufactured products, whilst the standard 5% is levied on all non-GCC products. |
