IDC expects that at a worldwide level, the ISO market will grow at a five-year CAGR of 1.3%, reaching $129.3 billion in 2017.

"Part of making this assessment requires that IS outsourcers first build a blueprint of the end state of the business model of a cloud provider, and its ecosystem, and then develop a road map of transformation to help them achieve reaching this end state, all of which will enable players to determine more accurately their position within this evolving market or need to exit out of this market."
