Worldwide Consumer Device Semiconductor 2010-2015 Forecast

This IDC study updates the forecast published in Worldwide Consumer Device Semiconductors 2010-2014 Forecast: Into the Recovery (IDC #223278, May 2010). This document adds coverage for semiconductors found in mobile consumer devices, which includes media tablets and ereaders.

"Graphics, video, and connectivity will continue to be the critical elements for new products within the consumer semiconductor market," said Michael Palma, IDC senior analyst for Consumer Device Semiconductors. "Other critical dimensions for innovation from consumer semiconductor suppliers will be processing, power management, and sensor technology."
