Western European Enterprise Communications Survey 2014: Attitudes Toward Videoconferencing
This IDC study is based on IDC's EMEAEnterprise Communications Survey 2014 and focuses on attitudes and trends toward videoconferencing in the region's enterprise business market. The survey covers 1,124 companies across nine countries selected via quota sampling based on country, company size, and vertical industry. The study provides some insight into general trends in videoconferencing technology adoption, as well as the adoption and use of specific technologies and features, including endpoints, platforms, managed services, and intercompany bridging. The study also discusses the structure of benefits perceived by current videoconferencing technology users in European companies and outlines key future trends and recommendations for both customers and market players in the region.
"The videoconferencing market in Western Europe shows a lot of potential for both video solution providers and their customers. For video to reach its full potential, it will be necessary for solution and service providers to take into account the specific video needs that vary by company size and industry sector," said Melissa Fremeijer, senior analyst, EMEA Communications and Collaboration.
