Western Europe IT Services Market Shares, 2015: Top 30 Vendors
This IDC study shows that the ability to interact with business lines in client organizations and help drive digital transformation is a winning value proposition. Vendors with these capabilities saw solid growth in 2015, several of which had double-digit growth, while those with large activity in traditional outsourcing found it hard to compensate for the decline in this space despite success in the digital arena. "While outsourcing was the space to be five to ten years ago, it is now a drag on revenue development," said Mette Ahorlu, research director, IDC European Services. "Today, scale is less important than agility and business contacts. The traditional vendors are putting a lot of effort into changing their traditional business, but because of the huge amounts of assets in this space, it takes time and some of them see themselves outpaced by nimbler players, such as the India-based vendors and some of the strong consulting players."
