This IDC study looks at the MFP market by user segment through six end-user environments. The information relates to user segment shares and forecasts for the MFP market in Western Europe and is based on the latest 2016 MFP forecast from published MFP studies."The SMB market has become the main battleground for MFP devices," said Phil Sargeant, program director, IDC Imaging Printing and Document Solutions. "While the other segments are either subdued or contracting, the SMB market is the largest in terms of the number of companies, the amount of employees, and the propensity to print. It purchases the largest amount of hardware and prints the most number of pages, and so it is a natural target market for all vendors to increase or maintain revenues and profits."
