Vietnam Internet Datacenter Services 2009-2013 Forecast and Analysis

This IDC study takes a view of the current market landscape of Vietnam IDC services with market analysis and service provider (SP) revenue forecasts from 2009 to 2013. With current large investments and numerous plans to establish datacenters in Vietnam for next few years, IDC expects that the datacenter SP market will take off soon. In addition, enterprises and SPs in Vietnam will thereafter look to address consolidating, building, and upgrading new datacenters that could be more efficient in terms of energy and power usage.

"Despite being in the early stage of development, the datacenter service market in Vietnam is already seeing heavy investments coming from certain key vertical markets, such as banking and telecom services. IDC expects there will be more players entering this young market, which will definitely offer more service options to the business customers," says Hoang-Thai Nguyen, senior market analyst, Communications, IDC Vietnam.
