Merriam-Webster defines "engage" as: to get and keep (someone's attention, interest, etc.). In a post-health reform environment, payers must develop new strategies to obtain and maximize the attention, interest, and loyalty of a new group of consumers from the individual policy marketplace.
According to S&P Capital IQ, about 90% of the workforce at Standard & Poor's 500 companies will be shifted out of job-based health coverage by 2020, which could start a similar trend among smaller companies.
