This IDC study identifies the trends in usage preferences and perception of mobile device and services of urban consumers in the Philippines using the information gathered from IDC's Mobile Consumer Survey conducted in July?August 2007.

"In the consumer mobile space, small steps are required before taking giant strides. Market players need to at least make little steps with consumers now before hauling them to the next generation in a persuasive manner," says Karen Rondon, research manager, Communications, IDC Philippines.
