U.S. Life Science 2015 Top 10 Predictions

This IDC Health Insights report identifies several major trends that we believe will impact life science companies in 2015.

"Technology will play a key supportive role in life science industry innovation in 2015 as the industry continues to move forward toward long-term sustainability. While business models are expected to continue to evolve in 2015, companies are increasingly looking to drive incremental change through lower risk innovations that can be strongly justified under the umbrella of improved operational performance. With external pressures continuing to add uncertainty to ongoing industry transformation (e.g., data insecurity in an increasingly externalized ecosystem, growing consumer/patient influences, and dependence on external partners), companies will need to remain aware and agile to best respond to changes as they occur," according to Scott Lundstrom, group vice president and general manager, IDC Health Insights.
