This IDC survey focuses on the services-related findings and implications for providers of green IT services in the United States. IDC recently surveyed over 1,600 respondents worldwide about their attitudes, approaches, and purchasing decisions related to green IT.

"The cost of energy remains the main reason why organizations are adopting green IT in the United States," says Gard Little, research manager, Worldwide Services. "IDC predicts green IT services will stay highly relevant through the remainder of the economic downturn, and demand will grow sharply as we emerge from the Great Recession."
