Enterprise Mobility Priorities in the Middle East & Africa
This IDC study provides an insight into the use of enterprise mobility by MEA organizations. In an enterprise mobility survey, the core mobile functions of email and personal information management ranked as the most used service requirements among MEA organizations, followed by mobile-specific operational and connectivity concerns. IDC believes that core business-centric applications, such as CRM, SCM, and SFA, will gain mainstream adoption.
"Mobility, when combined with best management practices and a solid business environment, has the potential to reduce costs, increase sales, and enhance profit margins. With two-thirds of MEA enterprises saying most of their workforce will be mobile in the next two to three years, these solutions are expected to achieve higher adoption rates." - Telecommunications Research Analyst Meghali Sharma, IDC Middle East, Africa, and Turkey.
