Eclipsys: An HIT First Responder with H1N1 Influenza Toolkit

On May 4, 2009, just days after the April 22, 2009, declaration of a public health emergency in the United States, Eclipsys released an influenza A H1N1 (swine flu) outcomes toolkit that is designed to help hospitals using its electronic medical record (EMR) to limit the spread of influenza in hospital waiting areas. It provides support for the identification, isolation, and treatment of patients suspected to have H1N1 and includes clinical documentation templates, order sets, alerts, and analytics.
